This fixture is designed for outdoor use in covered locations, such as porches or patios, where it will not be directly exposed to rain or standing water. While suitable for damp environments, it is not rated as fully water-resistant for direct water exposure.

5. Installationsvejledning

Før du begynder: Ensure power is turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box to prevent electrical shock.

1. Forbered monteringsoverfladen: If replacing an existing fixture, carefully remove it. Ensure the junction box is clean and accessible.
2. Fastgør monteringsplade: Secure the mounting plate (included in hardware kit) to the junction box using the provided screws. Ensure the plate is firmly attached and level.

4. Position Wires: Carefully tuck all wires into the junction box, ensuring no wires are pinched.
5. Monter armaturet: Align the fixture with the mounting plate and secure it using the provided screws or nuts. Ensure the fixture is flush against the mounting surface.
6. Installer pære: Insert one E26 base bulb (maximum 60 watts, LED compatible) into the socket. Do not overtighten.
7. Seal the Fixture (Crucial for Outdoor Use): Apply a bead of silicone sealant around the perimeter of the fixture where it meets the mounting surface to prevent water intrusion. Leave a small gap at the bottom for drainage.
8. Gendan strøm: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker or fuse box. Test the fixture to ensure it is working correctly.

6. Betjeningsvejledning

Once installed and power is restored, the Millennium Lighting 8041-PBK Outdoor Lantern operates via the wall switch connected to its circuit. Simply toggle the switch to turn the light on or off.

7. Vedligeholdelse
