The TOPWAY Digital Wood Moisture Meter features a compact design with an easy-to-read LED display, control buttons, and two sensitive measurement pins at the top. The device is powered by a 9V battery, housed in a compartment on the back.

Kontrol og display:

- MODE knap: Selects the wood group (A, B, C, D) for accurate measurement.
- HOLD-knap: Freezes the current measurement on the display.
- LED Display: Shows moisture percentage, selected wood group, and battery status.
5. Opsætning
5.1 Batteriinstallation
- Find batteridækslet på bagsiden af enheden.
- Skub dækslet nedad for at åbne rummet.
- Connect the included 9V battery to the battery clip, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Place the battery into the compartment and slide the cover back into place until it clicks securely.

6. Betjeningsvejledning
6.1 Tænd/sluk
- Tryk på det røde Power knap to turn the device ON. The display will light up.
- To turn OFF, press the red Power knap again. The device will also automatically power off after approximately 15 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.
6.2 Selecting Wood Group
For accurate wood moisture measurements, select the appropriate wood group (A, B, C, or D) that corresponds to the type of wood you are measuring. Refer to Section 6.4 for a list of wood types per group.
- With the device ON, press the MODE knap repeatedly to cycle through the wood groups (A, B, C, D). The selected group will be indicated on the display.
6.3 Tage en måling
- Ensure the device is ON and the correct wood group is selected (if measuring wood).
- Carefully push the two measurement pins into the material you wish to measure. Ensure the pins penetrate the material sufficiently for a stable reading.
- Aflæs fugtighedsprocententage displayed on the LED screen.

- Remove the pins from the material after measurement.

6.4 Wood Group Classification
The meter is calibrated for approximately 50 wood species, categorized into four groups:
- Gruppe A: Teak, Afromosia, Walnut
- Gruppe B: White Poplar, Keruing
- Gruppe C: Lauan, Ash, Elm
- Gruppe D: Basswood, Larch, Pine
7. Vedligeholdelse
7.1 Rengøring
- Tør enheden af med en blød, tør klud. Brug ikke slibende rengøringsmidler eller opløsningsmidler.
- Ensure the measurement pins are clean and free of debris after each use.
7.2 Opbevaring
- Opbevar enheden et køligt, tørt sted, væk fra direkte sollys og ekstreme temperaturer.
- Remove the battery if storing for extended periods to prevent battery leakage and damage to the device.
7.3 Udskiftning af batteri
- When the battery indicator on the display shows low power, replace the 9V battery following the installation steps in Section 5.1.
8. Fejlfinding
- Enheden tændes ikke:
- Check if the 9V battery is installed correctly with the correct polarity.
- Replace the battery with a new one if it is depleted. - Unøjagtige aflæsninger:
- Ensure the measurement pins are fully inserted into the material.
- Verify that the correct wood group is selected for the material being measured.
- Clean the measurement pins if they appear dirty or corroded.
