The BIG RED TAM825051 floor jack requires minimal assembly, primarily attaching the handle.

1. Insert the lower handle section into the handle socket on the jack.
2. Align the holes and secure the handle with the provided pin or screw, if applicable.
3. Attach the upper handle section to the lower section, ensuring it is firmly connected.

Once assembled, the handle is used for both pumping the jack and operating the release valve.

2. Ensure the saddle of the jack is centered and securely contacting the lifting point.
3. Close the release valve by turning the handle clockwise until it is firm. Do not overtighten.
4. Pump the handle up and down to raise the vehicle to the desired height.
5. Once the vehicle is lifted, immediately place appropriately rated jack stands under the vehicle's frame at the manufacturer's recommended support points.
6. Slowly lower the vehicle onto the jack stands by gently turning the release valve counter-clockwise. Ensure the vehicle is stable on the jack stands before performing any work.
