Opsætning og første brug

Brygning af kaffe
- Varmevand: Heat fresh water to just below boiling (approximately 200°F / 93°C).
- Tilsæt kaffegrums: For an 8-cup French press, add approximately 8 tablespoons (or 2 scoops) of coarse ground coffee to the carafe. Adjust to your preferred strength.
- Tilsæt varmt vand: Pour hot water over the coffee grounds, ensuring all grounds are saturated. Fill to just below the spout.
- Stir (Optional): Gently stir the coffee and water mixture with a non-abrasive spoon.
- Place Plunger: Place the plunger assembly on top of the carafe, with the filter resting just above the water level. Do not press down yet.
- Brygge: Allow the coffee to brew for 4 minutes. For a stronger brew, extend the time.
- Trykke: Slowly and steadily press the plunger down. Do not force it. If it's too difficult to press, the grind might be too fine. If it plunges too easily, the grind might be too coarse.
- Tjene: Pour the freshly brewed coffee immediately to prevent over-extraction.

- Trykke: Slowly and steadily press the plunger down to separate the leaves from the brewed tea.

Vedligeholdelse og rengøring
Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your French press.
- Efter hver brug: Discard coffee grounds or tea leaves. Rinse all parts immediately with warm water.
- Håndvask anbefales: The French press is ikke opvaskemaskinesikker. Wash all components by hand with warm, soapy water.
- Demontering til rengøring: For thorough cleaning, unscrew the filter screen from the plunger rod. Clean all parts, paying special attention to the mesh filter to remove any trapped particles.
- Skyl og tør: Rinse all parts thoroughly to remove soap residue. Allow to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.
