1. Introduktion

The BT-38B is designed for ease of use with clearly labeled components:

• Lamp Lys: Provides illumination for working in dim environments.
• Test Lead Fixture: Securely holds the test leads.

• SELECT-tast: In the Ohms/Continuity/Diode Test range, press this key to cycle through Resistance, Diode, and Continuity test modes. In Voltage mode, it switches between DC and AC voltage målinger.

5. Opsætning

5.1 Batteriinstallation

The BTMETER BT-38B requires two AAA batteries for operation.

1. Locate the battery cover at the bottom of the multimeter.
2. Rotate the battery bin counter-clockwise until it pops up.
3. Carefully pull out the battery bin.
4. Isæt to AAA-batterier, og sørg for at polariteten (+/-) vender korrekt.
5. Slide the battery bin back into the multimeter and rotate clockwise to secure it.

Når batteriikonet 🔋 lights up on the screen, it indicates that the battery needs to be replaced.

6. Betjeningsvejledning

6.1 Generel drift

• Turn the toggle switch from OFF to the desired measurement function (Voltage or Ohms/Continuity/Diode).
• Tilslut testledningerne til det kredsløb eller den komponent, der testes.

• The meter features an Auto Power Off function after 15 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life. A "BEEP" warning will sound before auto power off.

6.2 AC/DC Voltage Måling

The BT-38B can measure AC voltage from 2V to 600V and DC voltage fra 200 mV til 600 V.

1. Turn the toggle switch to the "V" position.
2. Tryk på VÆLGE button to switch between AC and DC voltage modes as needed. The display will indicate "AC" or "DC".
3. Connect the red test lead to the positive (+) side of the circuit and the black test lead (COM) to the negative (-) side or ground.
4. Læs bindtage -værdi på LCD -displayet.

6.3 Modstandsmåling

Measure resistance from 200 Ohm to 20M Ohm.

1. Turn the toggle switch to the "Ω" position.
2. Sørg for, at kredsløbet er spændingsløst, før du måler modstanden.

6.4 Kontinuitetstest

The built-in buzzer sounds if resistance is less than 50Ω.

1. Turn the toggle switch to the "Ω" position.

• Baggrundsbelysning: Press and hold the backlight button (sun icon) for more than 2 seconds to turn on the LCD backlight. Press and hold again for more than 2 seconds to turn it off. The backlight will automatically turn off after 15 seconds.
• Lommelygte: A short press of the backlight button (sun icon) will activate the front LED flashlight, useful for illuminating dark work areas.

7. Vedligeholdelse

7.1 Rengøring

Wipe the meter with a dry, clean cloth. Do not use abrasives or solvents.

7.2 Udskiftning af batteri

Refer to Section 5.1 for detailed instructions on battery replacement. Always use fresh AAA batteries.

7.3 Opbevaring

If the meter is not used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
