6.2 Filter Change Reminder

The thermostat includes a filter change reminder, which can be set from 50 to 2000 hours. When the reminder activates, it indicates that your HVAC system's air filter may need to be checked or replaced. Regular filter changes are essential for system efficiency and air quality.

7. Fejlfinding

If you encounter issues with your Suuwer S715 thermostat, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Ingen skærm/strøm: Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. If wired, ensure the 24VAC power supply is active and connections are secure.
  • Systemet svarer ikke: Verify that the system switch (Cool/Off/Heat) is in the correct position. Check wiring connections for looseness or incorrect placement. Ensure your system is compatible (refer to Section 3).
  • Forkert temperaturaflæsning: Allow the thermostat to acclimate to the room temperature for at least 15 minutes after installation. Ensure the thermostat is not exposed to direct sunlight, drafts, or heat sources. The room temperature calibration can be adjusted if needed (refer to the full installation manual).
  • Programmeringsproblemer: Double-check your programmed schedule for correct times and temperatures. Ensure the 'Hold' function is not active if you intend for the schedule to run.
  • Frequent Cycling: Adjust the temperature swing setting (differential) to a slightly larger value (refer to Section 5.5).
