4. Opsætning
4.1 Batteriinstallation
Install batteries in both the outdoor sensor and the main unit in the following order to ensure proper synchronization.
4.1.1 Outdoor Transmitter (Sensor)
- Åbn batteridækslet på bagsiden af udendørssensoren.
- Insert 2x AA 1.5V batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).

4.1.2 Base Station (Main Unit)
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the base station.
- Insert 3x AAA 1.5V batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).

Once batteries are installed in both units, the base station will automatically search for the outdoor sensor signal. This may take a few minutes. Ensure both units are within range of each other.
4.2 Placering
For accurate readings and optimal signal transmission, consider the following placement guidelines:
- Basestation: Place the main unit indoors, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and drafts. It can be placed on a table using its integrated stand or mounted on a wall.
- Udendørs sensor: Position the outdoor sensor in a shaded, dry location, protected from direct rain and sunlight, to ensure accurate temperature and humidity measurements. While it is designed for outdoor use, extreme weather conditions can affect its performance and lifespan. The wireless transmission range is up to 60 meters (197 feet) in open areas. Walls and other obstacles may reduce this range.

5. Betjeningsvejledning
The TFA Dostmann Life Weather Station features a clear display and convenient sensor touch controls for easy operation.
5.1 Display overview
The display shows various information at a glance:
- Tid og dato: Current time and date (manually adjustable).
- Indendørs temperatur og luftfugtighed: Readings for the base station's location.
- Udendørs temperatur og luftfugtighed: Readings transmitted from the wireless sensor.
- Weather Symbols: Forecast based on changes in humidity values (e.g., sun, clouds, rain).
- Maks./min. værdier: Highest and lowest recorded temperatures and humidity for both indoor and outdoor.

5.2 Sensor Touch Operation
The device uses sensor touch controls located below the display. Gently touch the icons to activate functions.
- LYS: Touch the "LIGHT" area to activate the backlight for a few seconds.
- CH/▲ (Channel/Up): Press to switch between outdoor sensor channels (if multiple sensors are used) or to increase values during settings.
- SÆT: Press to enter settings mode for time, date, and other parameters.
- MEM/▼ (Memory/Down): Tryk for at view maximum and minimum recorded values or to decrease values during settings.

5.3 Indstilling af tid og dato
Sådan indstilles klokkeslæt og dato manuelt:
- Tryk og hold på SÆT knappen, indtil tidsvisningen begynder at blinke.
- Brug CH/▲ og MEM/▼ knapper for at justere timen.
- Trykke SÆT igen for at bekræfte og gå til næste indstilling (minutter, år, måned, dag).

- Trykke SÆT one last time to exit the settings mode.
5.4 Skift af temperaturenheder (°C/°F)
For at skifte mellem Celsius og Fahrenheit skal du kort trykke på CH/▲ button when not in settings mode.
5.5 Viewing Max/Min værdier
Tryk kort på MEM/▼ button to cycle through current, maximum, and minimum recorded indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity values. The display will indicate "MAX" or "MIN" when these values are shown.
6. Vedligeholdelse
- Rensning: Rengør enheden med en blød, damp klæde. Brug ikke slibende rengøringsmidler eller opløsningsmidler.
