1. Introduktion

The Ohaus Scout Portable Balance SPX1202 is engineered for precise weighing in laboratory, industrial, and educational settings. This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your balance to ensure accurate and reliable performance.

The SPX1202 model features an LCD display and tactile buttons for user-friendly operation. The sealed front panel and spill ring enhance durability by protecting internal components from spills. 2. Opsætning

2.1 Udpakning

Carefully remove the balance from its packaging. Retain all packaging materials for future transport or storage. Verify that all components are present:

• Ohaus Scout Portable Balance unit
• Stainless steel weighing pan
• AC adapter (if included, or ensure 4 AA batteries are available)

2.2 Placering

Place the balance on a stable, level surface free from vibrations, drafts, and direct sunlight. Avoid locations near heat sources or air conditioning vents.

2.3 Udligning af balancen

The balance must be level for accurate measurements. Use the leveling bubble located near the display to adjust the feet:

1. Adjust the two rear feet by turning them clockwise or counter-clockwise until the air bubble is centered within the red circle of the leveling indicator.
2. Ensure the balance is stable and does not rock.

The balance can be powered by an AC adapter or 4 AA batteries (not included).

• AC-adapter: Connect the AC adapter to the power input port on the rear of the balance and then to a suitable power outlet.
• Batterier: Open the battery compartment on the underside of the balance and insert 4 AA batteries, observing polarity.

3. Betjeningsvejledning

3.1 Tænd/sluk

• For at tænde skal du trykke på ON/OFF knap.
