2. Sikkerhedsoplysninger
ADVARSEL: Read all safety warnings and instructions before operating this product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.
- Elektrisk sikkerhed: Ensure the compressor is connected to a properly grounded 120V power outlet. Do not operate in wet conditions or with wet hands. Disconnect power before performing any maintenance.
- Tryksikkerhed: Never exceed the maximum operating pressure of 4 Bars (58 PSI). The compressor is equipped with a pressure relief safety valve; do not tampeh med det.
- Ventilation: Operate the compressor in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Ensure adequate space around the unit for air circulation.
- Børn og kæledyr: Keep the compressor out of reach of children and pets. This is not a toy.
- Tiltænkt brug: Use this compressor only for its intended purpose as an airbrush compressor. Do not modify the unit or use it for applications it was not designed for.
- Opretholdelse: Regularly drain moisture from the air tank. Perform maintenance only when the compressor is unplugged and depressurized.

4. Produktet er slutview og komponenter
Familiarize yourself with the main components of your AS186 airbrush compressor.

Figur 4.1: Samlet set view of the TIMBERTECH AS186 Airbrush Compressor. This image displays the compact design, integrated carry handle, and the main components including the motor unit, air tank, and pressure regulator assembly.

Figur 4.2: Key functional components. This image highlights the On/Off switch for power control, efficient heat dissipation fin design on the motor, the air release valve for depressurizing, and the water drain valve located at the bottom of the tank.

Figur 4.3: Air Pressure Regulator. This component allows for precise adjustment of the output air pressure using the knob control. The integrated gauge displays the current pressure in both PSI and Bar. To adjust, pull the knob up and rotate, then push down to lock.

Figur 4.4: Additional features. This image shows the suction pads for stability during operation, the auto start (3 Bar / 43 PSI) and auto stop (4 Bar / 58 PSI) pressure settings, and the drain button for releasing accumulated water from the moisture trap.
5. Opsætningsvejledning
- Pakker ud: Fjern forsigtigt alle komponenter fra emballagen. Undersøg for eventuelle forsendelsesskader.
- Placering: Place the compressor on a stable, level surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. The suction pads on the feet (refer to Figure 4.4) will help secure it.
- Tilslut luftslange: Attach your airbrush hose (not included) to the air outlet on the pressure regulator. Ensure a secure, airtight connection.
- Strømtilslutning: Sæt netledningen i en jordet 120V stikkontakt.
- Indledende trykkontrol: Before turning on, ensure the pressure regulator knob is set to a low pressure or fully counter-clockwise to prevent sudden pressure surges.
6. Betjeningsvejledning
- Tænd: Flip the On/Off switch (refer to Figure 4.2) to the 'On' position. The compressor will begin to fill the 3-liter air tank.
- Trykjustering:
- Pull up the pressure regulator knob (refer to Figure 4.3).
- Rotate the knob clockwise to increase pressure or counter-clockwise to decrease pressure. Observe the gauge for the desired setting.
- Når det ønskede tryk er indstillet, skal du trykke knappen ned for at låse den på plads.
- Automatisk drift: The AS186 features an auto start/stop function. The compressor will automatically start when the tank pressure drops to approximately 3 Bar (43 PSI) and stop when it reaches approximately 4 Bar (58 PSI) (refer to Figure 4.4). This maintains consistent pressure and extends motor life.
- Using Your Airbrush: Connect your airbrush to the hose and begin your work. The compressor will maintain the set pressure.
- Sluk: When finished, turn the On/Off switch to the 'Off' position. Disconnect the airbrush and depressurize the system by briefly opening the air release valve or by using your airbrush until the gauge reads zero.
7. Vedligeholdelse
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your compressor. Always unplug the compressor before performing any maintenance.
- Drain Moisture from Tank: After each use, or at least daily, drain any accumulated moisture from the air tank.
- Ensure the compressor is off and depressurized.
- Locate the water drain valve at the bottom of the tank (refer to Figure 4.2).
- Open the valve to release condensed water. Close it securely afterward.
- Drain Moisture from Moisture Trap: The moisture trap (part of the regulator assembly) also collects water.
- Press upward on the drain button at the bottom of the moisture trap to release collected water (refer to Figure 4.4). Do not press this button when the machine is working or when the pressure stops.
- Ren luftfilter: Periodically check and clean the air filter located on the intake side of the compressor. A clogged filter can reduce performance.
- Generel rengøring: Tør kompressorens yderside af med enamp klæde. Brug ikke skrappe kemikalier eller slibende rengøringsmidler.
