3. Opsætning og installation

Proper installation is crucial for the safe and efficient operation of your water heater. It is recommended that installation be carried out by a certified professional.

3.1 Monteringsmuligheder:

• Lodret installation: Branch pipes should point downwards.
• Vandret installation: Branch pipes should point to the left.
• Use the provided wall anchors and mounting kit to securely fasten the boiler to a sturdy wall capable of supporting its weight (19 kg empty, significantly more when full).

3.2 Vandtilslutninger:

Connect the water inlet and outlet pipes. The boiler includes a 3-way safety valve which combines a drain valve, a non-return valve, and a pressure relief valve. This valve must be installed on the cold water inlet.

• Koldt vand indløb: Connect to the blue marked pipe. Install the 3-way safety valve here.
• Varmtvandsudtag: Connect to the red marked pipe.
• Sørg for, at alle forbindelser er vandtætte.
• Minimum water pressure: 0.05 MPa. Maximum water pressure: 0.7 MPa.
• Working pressure: maximum 0.8 MPa.

3.3 Elektrisk tilslutning:

• The boiler comes with a connection cable and plug.
• Connect to a standard 230 Volt, 10 Ampere power outlet.
• Kritisk trin: Before plugging in the appliance, ensure the water heater tank is completely filled with water. Open a hot water tap until water flows freely, indicating the tank is full and air has been purged. Failure to do so will damage the heating elements and void the warranty.

4. Betjeningsvejledning

The Thermex IF 50 Smart Boiler features a user-friendly control panel for easy operation.

• On/Off Button (⏻): Tryk for at tænde eller slukke for enheden.
• Temperaturjustering (±): Use to cycle through available temperature settings (e.g., 55°C, 65°C, 75°C). The selected temperature will be indicated by an illuminated LED.
• Smart Mode Button (S): Activates or deactivates the intelligent learning function.
• Temperature Indicators (55, 65, 75): LEDs illuminate to show the current target temperature setting.
• Alarmindikator (👣): Illuminates in case of a detected fault or error.

4.2 Tænd/sluk:

Press the On/Off button to switch the water heater on. The display will light up, and the unit will begin heating water to the last set temperature or default temperature. Press again to turn off.

4.3 Temperaturjustering:

With the unit powered on, press the Temperature adjustment button to select your desired water temperature. The corresponding LED (55°C, 65°C, or 75°C) will light up.

4.4 Smart Mode Functionality:

The intelligent "SMART" mode monitors your hot water usage patterns over a 7-day cycle. It anticipates your hot water needs and preheats accordingly, ensuring hot water is available when required while minimizing energy consumption during periods of low demand. In times when hot water is not typically needed, the water will be maintained at a minimum temperature. Activate or deactivate this mode by pressing the Smart Mode button.

5. Vedligeholdelse

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your Thermex IF 50 Smart Boiler.

• Dræning: If the appliance will not be used for an extended period or if there is a risk of freezing, drain the water heater completely. Consult a professional for proper drainage procedures.
