Opsætning

Installation af batteri

The thermometer comes with a CR2032 battery pre-installed. If the battery needs replacement, follow these steps:

Operation

Ensure the thermometer is clean before use. Press the power button to turn on the device. The display will briefly show the last reading, then 'L' with a flashing '°F' or '°C', indicating it is ready for measurement.

• Oral anvendelse: Place the flexible tip under the tongue, as far back as comfortable. Close lips to hold the thermometer in place.
• Axillær (underarm) brug: Place the tip in the armpit, ensuring good skin contact. Hold the arm firmly against the body.
• Rektal brug: Apply a water-soluble lubricant to the tip. Gently insert the tip into the rectum (approximately 1/2 inch for infants/children, 1 inch for adults).

Hold the thermometer in position until a series of beeps indicates that the peak temperature has been reached (typically within 5 seconds for oral/rectal, longer for axillary).

• Color Feverline Alert: The display features a color-coded indicator:
