1. Introduktion

The Goldanalytix GoldScreenPen is a practical and innovative device designed for the rapid and non-destructive authentication of precious metals such as gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. 4. Opsætning

Before first use, ensure the GoldScreenPen is fully charged.

1. Opladning af enheden: Connect the provided charging cable to the charging port on the GoldScreenPen and plug the other end into a suitable power adapter. The device's display will indicate charging status.

5. Betjeningsvejledning

The GoldScreenPen uses an inductive measuring principle to determine the authenticity of precious metals.

1. Forberedelse: Ensure the surface of the metal object to be tested is clean and free of dirt or coatings that might interfere with the measurement.
2. Placering: Gently place the measuring tip of the GoldScreenPen directly onto the surface of the metal object. Ensure full contact.
3. Læsning: The device will display a conductivity reading (Leitwert [MS/m]) on its screen. Compare this reading to known values for authentic precious metals.
4. Fortolkning:
   • Authentic gold, silver, platinum, and palladium will yield specific conductivity ranges. Refer to the detailed manual (included in the package) for precise values.
   • The device can measure through thin films and many blister packs, making it versatile for various forms of precious metals.
   • It is effective for testing coins and small ingots up to 1 ounce.

6. Vedligeholdelse

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and accuracy of your GoldScreenPen.

• Rensning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device and the measuring tip. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Opbevaring: When not in use, store the GoldScreenPen in its padded carrying case to protect it from dust, moisture, and physical damage.
