1. Opsætning
Follow these steps to prepare your sewing machine for first-time use.
1.1 Udpakning og placering
- Carefully remove the machine from its packaging. Retain all packing materials for storage or transport.
- Place the machine on a stable, flat surface with adequate lighting. Ensure there is enough space for fabric movement.
- Clean any dust or debris from the machine using a soft, dry cloth.
1.2 Strømtilslutning
- Ensure the power switch is in the SLUKKET position.
- Connect the foot controller plug into the machine's receptacle.
- Sæt netledningen i en almindelig stikkontakt.
1.3 Nåleinstallation
- Turn the handwheel towards you to raise the needle bar to its highest position.
- Press the foot controller gently to wind the bobbin. Stop when the bobbin is full.
- Klip tråden over, og før spolevindingsspindlen tilbage til venstre.
2. Betjeningsvejledning
This section details the steps for basic sewing operations.
- Follow the numbered threading path indicated on your machine, ensuring the thread passes through all guides and tension discs.
- Tråd nålen forfra og bagpå.
- Insert the wound bobbin into the bobbin case, ensuring the thread feeds correctly.
- Stitch Pattern Dial: Rotate the dial to select your desired stitch pattern (e.g., straight stitch, zigzag).
- Stinglængde-drejeknap: Adjust the stitch length for tighter or looser stitches.
- Stingbredde-knap: For zigzag and decorative stitches, adjust the stitch width.
- Spændingsskive: Adjust the upper thread tension to achieve balanced stitches. Test on scrap fabric.
2.3 Grundlæggende syning
- Læg stoffet under trykfoden.
- Sænk trykfodshåndtaget.
- Drej håndhjulet for at sænke nålen ned i stoffet.
- Tryk forsigtigt på fodpedalen for at begynde at sy. Før stoffet jævnt.
- To reverse stitch, press and hold the reverse lever/button.
- When finished, raise the needle and presser foot, then pull the fabric away from the machine. Cut threads using the thread cutter.
3. Vedligeholdelse
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your sewing machine.
3.1 Rengøring
- Før rengøring: Tag altid stikket ud af maskinen.
- Foderhunde: Remove the needle plate and use the small brush provided (or a soft brush) to clean lint and dust from the feed dogs.
- Spoleområde: Remove the bobbin case and bobbin. Clean out any lint or thread scraps from the bobbin area.
Refer to your machine's specific lubrication points. Generally, a few drops of high-quality sewing machine oil should be applied to moving metal parts, such as the hook race and needle bar mechanism, every 8-10 hours of sewing or as needed. Avoid over-oiling.
3.3 Udskiftning af nål
Replace the needle regularly (after 8-10 hours of sewing or at the start of a new project) or if it becomes bent, dull, or damaged. A dull needle can cause skipped stitches and fabric damage. Follow the needle installation steps in Section 1.3.
4. Fejlfinding
|---|---|---|
| Springet sting over | Forkert nål, bøjet nål, forkert trådning, forkert trådspænding. | Replace needle with correct type/size. Re-thread machine. Adjust tension. |
| Trådbrud | Improper threading, high tension, poor quality thread, bent needle, burrs on needle plate. | Re-thread machine. Reduce tension. Use quality thread. Replace needle. Check for burrs. |
| Stoffets rynkning | Incorrect tension, wrong stitch length, dull needle, incorrect presser foot pressure. | Adjust tension. Increase stitch length. Replace needle. Adjust presser foot pressure. |
| Maskine, der ikke fodrer stof | Feed dogs lowered, lint in feed dogs, presser foot not lowered. | Raise feed dogs. Clean feed dogs. Lower presser foot. |
