5.2 Installing Nozzles and Needles

The airbrush comes with a 0.3 mm nozzle and needle pre-installed. To change them:

  1. Unscrew the needle chucking guide at the rear of the airbrush and carefully pull out the needle.
  2. Unscrew the nozzle cap and then the nozzle itself using the provided small wrench.
  3. Carefully screw in the desired new nozzle (0.2 mm or 0.5 mm) and tighten gently with the wrench. Do not overtighten.
  4. Insert the corresponding new needle (0.2 mm or 0.5 mm) from the rear of the airbrush until it seats properly.
  5. Screw the needle chucking guide back on, ensuring the needle is secure but can still move freely when the trigger is pulled.

6. Betjeningsvejledning

6.1 Fyldning af malingskoppen

Ensure your paint is properly thinned for airbrushing. Use the included pipettes to carefully transfer paint into the gravity-feed paint cup located on top of the airbrush. Do not overfill.

6.2 Dual-Action Control

The ABPST01 is a dual-action airbrush, meaning you control both air and paint flow with a single trigger:

  • Pressing Down: Pressing the trigger down releases air.
  • Pulling Back: While holding the trigger down, pull it back to release paint. The further back you pull, the more paint is released.

Practice on a scrap surface to get a feel for the control. Always start with air, then add paint, and finish by releasing paint before releasing luft.

6.3 Adjusting Spray Pattern

The spray pattern size is primarily controlled by the distance of the airbrush from the surface and the amount of paint released. For fine lines (as small as 1mm), hold the airbrush closer and pull the trigger back minimally. For wider patterns (up to 40mm distance), hold the airbrush further away and pull the trigger back more.

7. Vedligeholdelse

Korrekt rengøring og vedligeholdelse er afgørende for din airbrush' levetid og ydeevne.

7.1 Rengøring efter hver brug

  1. Empty any remaining paint from the paint cup.
  2. Add a small amount of appropriate cleaning solution (e.g., airbrush cleaner, water for water-based paints) to the paint cup.
  3. Spray the cleaning solution through the airbrush until it runs clear. You can back-flush by covering the nozzle with your finger and pulling the trigger back to bubble the cleaner into the cup.
  4. Wipe the paint cup clean with a soft cloth or cotton swab.

7.2 Disassembly for Deep Cleaning

For thorough cleaning or if paint has dried inside, occasional disassembly is required:

  1. Follow steps 1 and 2 from Section 5.2 to remove the needle and nozzle.
  2. Carefully clean all removed parts with cleaning solution and a soft brush. Pay special attention to the nozzle and needle tip.
  3. Clean the airbrush body, especially the paint channel and air passages.
  4. Reassemble the airbrush, ensuring all parts are dry and correctly aligned. Apply a tiny amount of airbrush lubricant (if available and recommended by manufacturer) to the needle for smooth operation.
