Indledning

The Fellowes Jupiter 2 125 Laminator is designed for quick and easy lamination of presentations, office documents, and school projects. It features unique AutoSense Technology that detects pouch thickness and automatically adjusts to the optimal laminating setting. With InstaHeat Technology, the laminator warms up in just 1 minute. Its robust 6-roller system ensures fast, high-quality lamination at 47 inches per minute. The Jupiter 2 supports both hot and cold pouches up to 10 mil thick, making it suitable for various lamination needs in schools and large office environments.

Opsætning

1. Pakker ud: Carefully remove the laminator and all packaging materials from the box.
2. Placering: Place the laminator on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is enough clear space behind the machine for laminated items to exit freely.
3. Attach Exit Tray: Attach the exit tray to the rear of the laminator. This tray supports laminated documents as they exit the machine.

Betjeningsvejledning

Power On and Warm-up

1. Tryk på Power knap () to turn on the laminator. The machine will begin its rapid warm-up cycle using InstaHeat Technology.
2. The laminator will be ready for use in approximately 60 seconds. A beep will sound, and the "Ready" indicator light will illuminate when the machine has reached the optimal laminating temperature.

Laminating Documents (Hot Lamination)

1. Forbered dokument: Place your document inside a laminating pouch, ensuring it is centered and the sealed edge of the pouch is aligned.
2. AutoSense-teknologi: The Jupiter 2 features AutoSense Technology, which automatically detects the thickness of the laminating pouch (up to 10 mil) and adjusts the laminating speed and temperature accordingly. No manual adjustments are typically needed for standard pouches.
3. Foderpose: Insert the sealed edge of the laminating pouch into the laminator's feed opening. The machine will automatically draw the pouch through.

4. Retrieve Laminated Document: Once the pouch has passed completely through the laminator, it will exit onto the rear tray. Allow the laminated document to cool on a flat surface before handling.

Reverse Function (Advanced Pouch Tracking System)

The Advanced Pouch Tracking System detects and automatically reverses the pouch in case of mis-feeds or jams. You can also manually activate the reverse function if needed.

• If a pouch becomes misaligned or jammed, the laminator's reverse function will activate automatically.
• To manually reverse a pouch, press and hold the Omvendt knap () until the pouch is clear of the feed opening.

Kold laminering

The Jupiter 2 also supports cold lamination for heat-sensitive documents or self-adhesive pouches.

1. Tryk på Cold Lamination Button (usually indicated by a snowflake icon or "Cold" text) to switch to cold laminating mode. The "Ready" light for cold lamination will illuminate.
2. Insert the cold laminating pouch with your document into the feed opening, sealed edge first.
3. Retrieve the laminated document from the exit tray.

Opretholdelse

• Rengøringsruller: To maintain optimal performance, regularly clean the laminator rollers. Use a Fellowes cleaning sheet (often included with pouches) by feeding it through the machine as you would a laminating pouch. This helps remove adhesive residue.
• Udvendig rengøring: Wipe the exterior of the laminator with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Opbevaring: When not in use, store the laminator in a clean, dry place. Ensure the machine is completely cool before storing.
