It also includes functions for diode testing, continuity checking, and transistor (hFE) testing. Featuring a 3 3/4 digit display with a maximum reading of 3260 counts, this device is suitable for a wide range of electrical and electronic troubleshooting tasks.
2. Sikkerhedsoplysninger
Please read and understand all safety information before operating this multimeter. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or damage to the meter or the equipment under test.
- Sørg altid for, at testledningerne er i god stand, fri for revner eller beskadiget isolering.
- Påfør ikke mere end den nominelle voltage between terminals or between any terminal and earth ground. The maximum input for voltage is 1000V DC or 750V AC.
- Never measure current on a circuit with voltage present without first ensuring the circuit is de-energized or the meter is properly connected in series.
- Observe the CAT (Category) ratings: CAT III 600V and CAT II 1000V. Do not use the meter in environments exceeding these ratings.

4. Opsætning
4.1. Batteriinstallation
The MY68 multimeter is powered by a 9V battery (not included). To install or replace the battery:
If the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the battery promptly to maintain measurement accuracy.
4.2. Tilslutning af testledninger
For most measurements:
- Tilslut sort testledning til KOM (fælles) stik.
- Tilslut rød testledning til VΩFCx stik til lydstyrketage, resistance, frequency, or capacitance measurements.
- For current measurements, connect the rød testledning til mA jack (for up to 400mA) or the A jack (for up to 10A).
Always ensure test leads are securely inserted before taking measurements.
5. Betjeningsvejledning
5.1. Måling af AC/DC-volumentage
- Connect the red lead to VΩFCx and the black lead to COM.
5.2. Måling af AC/DC-strøm
- ADVARSEL: Sørg for, at kredsløbet er spændingsløst, før måleren serieforbindes.
- Connect the black lead to COM. Connect the red lead to the mA jack (for current up to 400mA) or the A jack (for current up to 10A).
- Turn the rotary switch to the desired AC Current (A~, mA~, µA~) or DC Current (A-, mA-, µA-) position.
- VIGTIG: Never connect the meter in parallel when measuring current, as this will blow the fuse.
- Connect the red lead to VΩFCx and the black lead to COM.

- Connect the red lead to VΩFCx and the black lead to COM.
5.8. Transistortest (hFE)
- Turn the rotary switch to the hFE position.
- Identify the type (NPN or PNP) and pin configuration (EBC) of the transistor.
- Insert the transistor leads into the corresponding holes in the hFE socket on the meter.
- Read the hFE value (DC current gain) on the display.

The MY68 operates in auto-ranging mode by default. To select a specific range manually, press the RANGE button. Each press will cycle through the available ranges for the selected function. To return to auto-ranging, press and hold the RANGE button for a few seconds, or turn the rotary switch to a different function and then back.
6. Vedligeholdelse
6.1. Udskiftning af batteri
When the battery symbol appears on the display, the 9V battery needs to be replaced. Refer to Section 4.1 for instructions.
6.2. Udskiftning af sikring
If the current measurement functions (mA or A) stop working, the corresponding fuse may have blown. To replace a fuse:
- Replace with new fuses of the correct type and rating:
- For 400mA input: 0.5A/250V fast-acting fuse.
- For 10A input: 10A/250V fast-acting fuse.
Always use fuses with the specified voltage and current ratings to prevent damage to the meter or personal injury.
6.3. Rensning
7. Fejlfinding
- Intet display eller svagt display: Check battery. Replace if necessary.
- Forkerte aflæsninger: Ensure correct function and range are selected. Check test lead connections. Verify the circuit is de-energized for resistance/capacitance.
- Ingen aktuel aflæsning: Check if the fuse for the selected current range has blown. Replace if necessary (refer to Section 6.2).
- 'OL' (Overbelastning) vises: The measured value exceeds the selected range. If in manual range, select a higher range. If in auto-range, the value exceeds the meter's maximum capability.
