Opsætning og installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your Yamaha BWS20-190 speaker mount bracket.
1. Identify Mounting Location and Hardware
Determine the desired location for your speaker. Ensure the location provides adequate structural support. For wall mounting, locate wall studs. For ceiling mounting, locate ceiling joists or suitable blocking. Select appropriate lag bolts with washers or other heavy-duty fasteners suitable for your mounting surface and the combined weight of the speaker and bracket.
2. Attach Bracket to Speaker
Using the provided speaker attachment screws, secure the bracket's speaker-side plate to the rear of your compatible Yamaha speaker. Ensure the screws are tightened firmly but do not overtighten.
3. Mount Bracket to Wall or Ceiling
Position the base plate of the bracket against your chosen mounting surface. Mark the drilling points. Drill pilot holes appropriate for your selected mounting hardware. Secure the base plate firmly to the wall or ceiling using your chosen lag bolts and washers. Ensure the bracket is level and securely fastened.

4. Attach Speaker Assembly to Mounted Base
Carefully align the speaker assembly (with the bracket attached) with the base plate already mounted on the wall or ceiling. Secure the speaker assembly to the base plate according to the bracket's design. This typically involves sliding and locking mechanisms or additional screws.
5. Adjust Speaker Angle
The BWS20-190 features adjustable points allowing you to tilt and swivel the speaker to the desired angle. Loosen the adjustment screws, position the speaker, and then firmly tighten the screws to lock the angle in place. Ensure all adjustment points are secure before leaving the speaker unattended.
Drift
Once installed, the primary operation involves adjusting the speaker's position. The bracket allows for flexible positioning to optimize sound direction. To adjust, carefully loosen the relevant adjustment screws on the bracket, reposition the speaker, and then re-tighten the screws securely. Always support the speaker's weight during adjustment to prevent accidental drops.
Opretholdelse
The Yamaha BWS20-190 bracket requires minimal maintenance.
- Periodically check all mounting screws and adjustment points to ensure they remain tight and secure.
- Clean the bracket with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspect the bracket for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. If damage is found, discontinue use and replace the bracket.
Fejlfinding
Speaker feels loose after installation:
Ensure all screws, especially those connecting the bracket to the speaker and the bracket to the wall/ceiling, are fully tightened. Re-check the adjustment screws for the speaker's angle.
Difficulty adjusting speaker angle:
Loosen the adjustment screws sufficiently to allow movement. If the bracket is stiff, apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to the pivot points, being careful not to get it on the speaker or mounting surface. Re-tighten screws after adjustment.
Bracket appears to be bending or straining:
Immediately remove the speaker. The speaker may exceed the 15.4 lbs (7 kg) weight limit, or the mounting hardware/surface may be insufficient. Re-evaluate the speaker's weight and the structural integrity of the mounting location.
