Connect the PS3 system to your television using either an HDMI cable (recommended for HD TVs) or the supplied AV cable. Plug the AC power cord into the system and a wall outlet. Connect the Dualshock 3 wireless controller using the USB cable to charge it and pair it with the console.

For internet connectivity, you can use the built-in Wi-Fi or connect an Ethernet cable to the console's Ethernet port.
