• Always ensure all assembly fittings are correctly tightened. Regularly check that all screws and bolts are secure.

• The mattress used with this cot bed should be 140 x 70 cm. The thickness of the mattress should be such that the internal height (surface of the mattress to the top of the cot side) is at least 50 cm when the base is in the lowest position, and at least 20 cm when the base is in the highest position.
• This cot bed is suitable for children from birth up to approximately 5 years old, with a maximum recommended weight of 31 kg.
• When converting to a junior bed or child's sofa, ensure all cot side components are safely removed and stored.

4. Monteringsvejledning

Assembly requires two adults. Please follow the steps carefully. An Allen key is provided; a Phillips head screwdriver may also be required (not included).

4.1. Assembling the Cot Bed

3. Install Mattress Base: Insert the slatted mattress base into the desired height position. The Pinolino Viktoria offers three adjustable heights: 16 cm, 32 cm, and 48 cm from the floor. For newborns, the highest position is recommended for easier access. As your child grows and can sit up, lower the base to the middle position. Once your child can stand, the lowest position must be used to prevent climbing out. Secure the mattress base with the designated hardware.
4. Attach Remaining Side Rail: Attach the remaining side rail, ensuring the removable bars are correctly oriented.

5.1. Adjusting Mattress Base Height

The mattress base can be adjusted to three different heights to adapt to your child's development:

• Highest Position (48 cm): For newborns and infants who cannot sit up unaided. This position reduces strain on your back when lifting your baby.
• Middle Position (32 cm): For babies who can sit up but cannot yet stand.
• Lowest Position (16 cm): For toddlers who can stand or pull themselves up. This position is crucial to prevent your child from climbing out of the cot.

To adjust the height, remove the mattress and carefully detach the mattress base from the side rails. Re-attach it to the desired height using the appropriate pre-drilled holes and hardware. Ensure all fasteners are securely tightened before placing the mattress back.

5.2. Converting to Junior Bed

When your child outgrows the cot bed (typically around 2-3 years old, or when they can climb out), the Viktoria cot bed can be converted into a junior bed. This transition provides a familiar sleeping environment while offering more independence.

1. Ensure the mattress base is in the lowest position.
2. Remove the two long side rails with bars.
3. Attach the four conversion blocks (provided) to the headboards where the side rails were previously connected. These blocks serve as low side panels for the junior bed.
4. Ensure all conversion blocks are securely fastened.

5.3. Converting to Child's Sofa

The junior bed can also be used as a child's sofa. Simply position the bed against a wall and add cushions for back support. This provides a comfortable seating area for your child.
