1. Prepare Decalcifying Solution: Mix a solution of white vinegar and water (e.g., 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water) or use a commercial decalcifying agent specifically designed for coffeemakers. Refer to the product's instructions for exact ratios.
2. Run Decalcifying Cycle: Pour the solution into the water reservoir. Place the empty carafe on the warming plate. Run a full brewing cycle.
3. Skyllecyklusser: After the decalcifying cycle is complete, discard the solution. Fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water and run two to three full brewing cycles with only water to thoroughly rinse the coffeemaker.
